Tall Ship Macro View

The tall ships came to Dana Point and I could not resist. They are so spectacular and stately at the same time. I asked myself if I could capture the essence of a tall ship with a close up view for the most part. I left the wide or distant shots to others. Perhaps texture and perspective can tell this story as well.

 All shot with my Canon 7D and my Canon 60mm EFS lens. It was a beautiful day for it. All the ships crew were helpful. Interesting to hear about how those ships handle at sea.
