Silver And Fire, Ancient Acquaintances Indeed

Had another run at the shop. We had a quick shoot for the MJSA Journal about refining. After we got what they need we juts kept going. In this instance I pushed some settings pretty hard. I had to go high ISO. 2500, but that bought me a 1/8000th shutter speed. F13 to get some depth of field. 136mm Focal after correction for the sensor.

In Photoshop I brought up exposure about a stop and a half, leaned pretty hard on speckle and noise reduction. This was about 15 ounces of sterling silver that was being well mixed and sampled for assay. A hydrogen/oxygen torch provided all the heat. Our man Jose Diaz Lira was our man at the torch.
