Stopped in to the shop and Jose was doing some platinum solder. I just loved the crisp dancing nature of the fire itself.
That 18" long strip of metal is 95% platinum that is alloyed to be solder for assembling platinum jewelry. The strip was being softened in a very hot propane/oxygen torch flame. Going to be .10 millimeter thin.

Love this!
